Second Annual Christmas on Main

The 2nd Annual Christmas on Main sponsored by the Village of Morrow Parks and Recreation Board, Little Miami Area Chamber of Commerce, Morrow Area Historical Society, and Morrow of Tomorrow will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2014, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Main Street in historic downtown Morrow, Ohio 45152. This year’s events will feature vendor booths and hay rides. Horse-drawn carriage rides, free hot cider, and cookies provided by the Little Miami Area Chamber of Commerce, and a special visit by Santa at the train depot from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. If your business, church, or organization would like to participate in this event by having a booth or making a donation, please email email@example.com.
Elves Needed for Christmas on Main – Volunteers Needed
It's that time of the year again and Santa is looking for any age Elves. If you just love Christmas, are in high school and have to fulfill your community service hour requirements, love seeing the magic of Christmas in children's eyes, or whatever the case, Santa and his gang will be at the Morrow Train Depot Saturday, November 29, 2014, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Morrow Veterans Memorial Park Donations Accepted
On Tuesday, August 12, 2014, Morrow Council voted to proceed with plans to construct the Morrow Veterans Memorial Park at 156 East Pike Street between Bishop Park and Dr. Hahn’s Medical Office. The Park will consist of seven flag poles surrounded by 14 posts with temporary flag holders representing the 13 conflicts plus a veteran flag holder.
The American flag will be flown from a 30 foot flag pole, while the Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard service flags and the POW/MIA flag will each be flown on 25 foot flag poles. The American flag will be lit at night.
Engraved 4” x 8” brick pavers with veteran’s names may be purchased for $30.00 each. If you are interested in purchasing a brick or making a donation to help with the construction of the Park, please contact the Village Office at 513.899.2821 for a paver order form or click on the Paver Order Form link below.
A scale model of the proposed Veterans Memorial Park and actual brick paver is available for viewing at the Village Administration building located on Pike Street. Please make your check payable to Morrow VFW Post 8202. Please mail your completed brick form to:
