Employment Opportunity                Maintenance Workers I & II

The Village of Morrow is accepting applications for the full-time positions (two positions available) of Maintenance Worker I & II in our Public Works Department. 


Maintenance Worker I: Must be able to work primarily outdoors, reading water meters, cutting grass, plowing snow, repairing streets, catch basins, and other duties as assigned.


Maintenance Worker II: Same as Maintenance Worker I, plus requires an Ohio EPA Class I Water Operator’s certification.  Maintenance Worker II will also serve the Operator of the Village of Morrow Water Plant.


Competitive hourly wage and benefits.  Requirements: must be a high school graduate or equivalent; must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and have a clean driving record; must pass a thorough background check, drug test and medical screening.

Harlan Township Fire & Rescue Annual Brother Ed's Fish & Shrimp Dinner - April 3, 2015

Harlan Township Fire & Rescue will host their Annual Brother Ed’s Fish & Shrimp Dinner on Friday, April 3, 2015, from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm at the Harlan Township Fire & Rescue headquarters on Morrow-Rossburg Road at State Route 132, midway between Butlerville and Pleasant Plain.  The dinner is held in memory of Lieutenant Ed Vinup, who passed away in 2008, after being chairman of the dinner for 17 years.  Fish, shrimp and combo dinners, fish sandwiches, hot dogs and pizza will be available, along with macaroni & cheese, french fries, cole slaw, hush puppies, desserts, iced tea, coffee and soft drinks.  Meals will be served from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm, and are available for dine-in or carry out.  For further information, please contact Captain Dusty Vinup at 513.877.2727.

Morrow Veterans Memorial Brick Pavers Ready to Set

On Thursday, March 25th, the first 87 engraved 4” x 8” brick pavers were delivered to Morrow’s Administration Building for placement prior to Memorial Day.  Orders for the second set of engraved brick pavers are currently being accepted.  The minimum order for brick pavers is ten.  As soon as ten paver orders are received, another order will be processed and hopefully ready to set before Memorial Day.


Engraved 4” x 8” brick pavers with veteran’s names may be purchased for $30.00 each.  If you are interested in purchasing a brick or making a donation to help with the construction of the Park, please contact the Village Office at (513) 899-2821 for a brick form.  Please make your check payable to Morrow VFW Post 8202.  Please mail your completed brick form to:
