"Meeting Minutes" are generally defined as the instant written record of a meeting or hearing. They typically describe the events of the meeting, starting with a list of attendees, a statement of the issues considered by the participants, and related responses or decisions for the issues.

The Village of Morrow's minutes are created by a Clerk that uses shorthand notation during the meeting and then prepares the minutes for Council's review and approval at subsequent meetings. Minutes are generally terse and only include a summary of discussion and decisions. A verbatim written report is typically not useful and unneccessarily resource intensive; therefore, in addition to our minutes, each official public meeting is also audio-recorded.
